Each college holds undergraduate recognition ceremonies in May and December for bachelor’s degree graduates that features traditional commencement elements in a more intimate setting. Graduates process to the stage, hear their name called, walk the stage and shake hands with their college administration, and get their photo taken. Graduates wear their regalia at this event. The event lasts 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. There is no limit to the number of guests that graduation candidates can invite to attend the recognition ceremony and graduates and their guests are expected to remain for the duration.
