PhD candidate Mustafa Kirisci will be delivering a lecture on gendarmerie, rule of law, and the civilian victimization in civil wars. The human security workshop series is a venue for faculty and students from across unt to discuss human security research projects in an informal setting. The event is sponsored by the Castleberry Peace Institute, the Department of Political Science, the Department of History, the Department of Geography, and the Department of Economics. All students and faculty are welcome.
