The Craig Raupe Scholarship provides a stipend to support an internship in Washington, DC.
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant for the scholarship must possess the following characteristics:
- Must demonstrate, by their past activities and future goals and plans, a commitment to the vision of American democracy on which Craig Raupe's life was based, including progressivism, populism, egalitarianism, and responsiveness by government to the disadvantaged.
- The recipient must have completed (by the end of Spring semester) a minimum of 90 semester hours with a grade point average of at least 3.0, including at least fifteen hours of Political Science courses with the same minimum average.
- The applicant must fill out the application form and write a short essay (500 words maximum) on their commitment to the values espoused by Craig Raupe.
